Bill Duncan, Brian Newlove, and Andy Pierce Next up were the "graveyard crew" of Bill Duncan, Brian Newlove, and Andy Pierce. Andy finished fifth on leg 13 and Bill came in 4th on leg 14 and we moved up from third to second in the team standings.
We were up in time to see Brian Newlove finish up with a solid third place performance on leg 15. The same member of the "Maine-iacs" who had outlasted Joyce Switzer on leg one just edged out Brian for second. The Maine-iacs in third place for the team competition only gained a few seconds on us.
