I tried out my new tent on this trip: a Quest Fifth Season.
Pretty good tent, but we did get some condensation on the inside that formed
as frost.
Sam slept out most of that first night. The temperature only got down to around -12C. |
For breakfast we had some oatmeal and coffee.
This peninsula was a nice spot to appreciate the splendor and quietude of Algonquin in the winter. Putting up with a little bit of cold to experience the awesome beauty
of snow-weighted trees and a perfectly white frozen lake is a small price
to pay.
